The goal of our Executive Mentoring/Coaching services is to provide hands on support, feedback, training, and coaching to participating executives. The majority of this work centers on themes of:
Constructive healthy conflict
Team work and the role of a team player
Identify and address critical issues that others may avoid.
As companies grow and scale, oftentimes invaluable employees rise to the senior management team based on merit, work ethic, loyalty and trust – but may not have all the skill sets required to help the organization and the rest of the Executive team move the company forward.
At this level, the conversations become more difficult, the decisions more palpable and the ripple effect is broader and more immediate.
The same is true for the CEO of a growing organization. All too often CEOs are expected to “have all the answers” in determining the successful operation and growth of their company. And more times than not these same CEOs do not have anyone within their organization with whom to confide with or brainstorm regarding critical issues/decisions facing their company. As the old saying goes “it’s lonely at the top”.
In most cases it’s not a trust issue as to why the CEO has no one internally to confide in; rather it is a depth of experience issue. A good CEO recognizes the need to have a “peer” or advisor with whom they can speak freely. Someone who is willing to hold the CEO and the organization accountable, someone who has faced similar problems in the past, and someone who has a breadth of experience beyond one industry.
Foster trust at all levels of management through true collaborative relationships.
